Plantronics CS50 Wireless Headset System Review

Design

The Plantronics CS50 wireless headset weighs only 26 grams making it very slim and easy to use/carry. It can be worn in 3 different styles:

- Over the ear
- Over the head
- Behind ear (optional)

The headset is customizable in terms of position. It is most common for an office environment. Another nice feature integrated into the phone is the noise-cancelling microphone that helps eliminate background in the noise when you are talking.

Thus even if you are in a very loud public place, you'll be able to talk crystal clear! The Online Indicator Light shows a light that indicates the headset is in use.

Battery

The removable battery provides a talk time of 8 hours and standby time of 70 hours. In order to fully charge up the battery, it can take up 1.5 hours (80%) or 3 hours (100%).

Sound

Thanks to the noise free microphone feature, the sound provided by Plantronics CS50 is crystal clear and makes communication much more easier and efficient. The headset controls allow you to Mute the headset with the touch of a button, as well as control volume via a slider.

Your conversations will also be very secure with this headset thanks to the 900 MHz technology that helps you talk clear, secure and have your privacy. No eavesdroppers please!

Compatibility

The Plantronics CS50 is compatible with most office or PBX based phones. You can roam around with the headset and it will operate within a frequency range of 300 feet (typical for an office environment).
