Sony Ericsson Launches M600 3G Cell Phone February
7th, 2006
Sony
Ericsson has launched another 3G enabled phone in its
product line. The Sony Ericsson M600 contains some impressive
features such as remote synchronisation, new push email
applications, expandable memory and advanced email services.
Operating on the Symbian Operating System 9.1, the M600
allows you to view Adobe PDF files as well as Powerpoint,
Word and Excel files.
Jan Waby, Executive Vice President of
Sony Ericsson (Head of Sales and Marketing Division) quotes, "Estimates show that there are approximately 650
million business email users around the globe, and the
demand for true mobile email is growing rapidly. "
He adds, "While there are some standalone email messaging
devices available, many people will welcome fast and easy
messaging tools integrated into their mobile phone."
What's unique about the M600 is that
it is one of the slimmest business cell phones to be ever
released. It is just 15mm thick, which is quite impressive!
Sony Ericsson has stepped up in the fight against cell
phone viruses and thus integrated Anti Virus Solutions
such as McAfee and Pointsec encryption for free.
The available memory capacity of the
M600 is 80mb, which is huge. You can store lots of multimedia
content such as ringtones, wallpapers, screensavers, 3gp
videos and more. Furthermore, a memory stick of 64mb is
provided as supplemental.
