Messages

The motorola v325 has all the messaging features that you would expect from a modern cell phone. It has SMS (short messaging service), MMS (multimedia messaging service) and EMS (enhanced messaging service). The MMS allows you to send graphics, screensavers, wallpapers and more, to your friends/family.

Furthermore, the v325 comes built in with AIM, MSN and Yahoo messenger. This allows you to keep in touch with friends and family whilst you are on the road.

The iTAp predictive text input allows you to you to type faster and more efficiently. This is done by the phone suggesting words that it predicts you will type. You can just press enter and it will write up the word for you.

Screen

You maybe dissapointed with the V325 because it features only a black and white screen. Thus the screen is a bit different from the other Motorola models because they have color screens. The LCD display is monochrome and measures 96 x 32 pixels.

However, the screen is altogether not too bad! Why? Because the light in the LCD is always on, allowing you to clearly see the time, your incoming calls and other information. This is made possible by the fact that this phone was built using STN (Super Twisted Nematic) technology that uses less power.

The screen displays are built on Thin Film Transistors (TST). Since the transistors are thin and do not have to refresh many times to capture pixel by pixel, the display appears more colorful and vivid.

Audio

If you look at the details and specs of V325, you'll notice that this phone does not have an MP3 player and FM radio. This will make this phone a little less popular among consumers who are used to sophisticated features like mp3 players built into phones.

Not to be too negative however, the v325 comes built in with speakerphone and sophisticated voice recognition technology. This means you don't have to speak loud or shout when you are in a noisy environment. A cool feature with this phone is the voice dial. If you have a contact in your phonebook, then there is no need to record a voice dial. With a brief pause, the V325 will automatically match the name you speak out to the name in your phonebook. Furthermore it gives you the option of choosing from home, work or other mobile #.
