Messages

Nokia Xpress, a unique messaging feature built into the Nokia 6103 allows users to send pre-recorded voice clips over the carrier's network. It also allows users to send personalized audio messages to other cell phone users over the network.

The Nokia 6103 comes with SMS (short messaging service), EMS (enhanced messaging service) and MMS (multimedia messaging service). With the MMS feature, you can share multimedia content with your friends and family by emailing them content such as ringtones, screensavers, wallpapers, 3gp videos and more.

The writing of these SMS, EMS or MMS Messages is also made very easy thanks to predictive text input (T9). With this feature, the software predicts the words you are just about to type, and gives you a list of suggestions in drop down menu format. You just select the right word and the job is done!

Users of this phone can keep in touch with loved ones via Yahoo, MSN and AIM messenger software. The phone can be hooked up to a PC and keep long conversations going on, just as if you were sitting on a PC!

Screen

The screen size of 6103 is 128 by 160 pixels with a color range of 65k colors. The TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display screen allows for faster screen refresh rates thus making a beautiful picture display on your phone. The TFT also makes games, videos or taking photos (via the digital camera) much more fun because of the vibrant and beautiful screen.

Audio

The Nokia 6103 lacks sophisticated Audio features that we find in other phones such as the Sony Ericsson W600i walkman phone. Supporting only 24 chord or MP3 ringtones, the Nokia 6103 also comes built in with FM radio. Allowing you to preset upto 20 radio stations, you'll surely not be bored whilst you are riding on the bus thanks to live radio! The 20 radio stations can be manually or automatically tuned into.
