Samsung Korea has today announced a new clamshell cell phone, the Samsung T719 to be added to its already big list of impressive cell phones. Weighing only 3.5 ounces (99 grams) and packaged in a compact, slim folder design, the Samsung T719 boasts a wide variety of sophisticated features such as:

- 262k color TFT (Thin Film Transistor) screen

- a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with zoom, flash, video recording and playback support

- SureType text keyboard

- Blackberry Connect Push Email

- Speakerphone functionality

- EDGE connectivity (enables high speed data transfer rates allowing you to surf the Internet at high speeds and download multimedia content)

- Bluetooth capability

- Advanced voice recognition softwares

- WiFi/UMA connectivity (with WIFI/UMA connectivity, users of the T719 can switch their calls between broadband and cellular networks. Calls can be made from Wi-FI access points or through the Internet allowing users to connect to the nearest base station. This allows consumers to have seamless connectivity while travelling between their homes, work, etc).

- Handsfree wireless communication

A colorful background is attached behind the monochrome screen display of the Samsung T719 and lights up when the phone is in use.
