Messages

Same as the W810i model, Sony Ericsson K618i comes with SMS, MMS and EMS , and with email access above all. MMS stands for multimedia messaging service, that is the possibility to send picture messages with text and sound. Pictures can be ones taken with built-in camera or camera accessory or ones saved in the phone. Sounds can be recorded sounds, ringtones or other sounds stored in phone. The user can input as many characters as he likes, no worry about that, as the phone features SMS long (text messaging) that is described by the possibility to send SMS messages up to 9600 characters. This feature must be enabled when sending text messages with pictures and sounds attached ( EMS ), in other words, for ling messages.

The writing of the messages is made easier due to T9 predictive text input. Also you have a sound recorder at your will, in case you want to record voice messages or any other type of sounds. Sony WEricsson K618i front white

Standard push e-mail support (P-IMAP) sends messages direct to the phone without having to download them.

Screen

The screen size of the K618i is 176 by 220 px, with a color range of 262000 colors on a TFT display. Specification wise, the screen is identical in properties with that of Sony Ericsson W810i. The screen is bright, the TFT makes games, videos or taking photos more exciting and fun offering a great display.

Audio

The phone has a loud speakerphone, very useful in noisy or crowded places.

The music experience is brought to its highest level as the phone features a music player, music Keys, Disc2Phone, USB mass storage, Bluetooth A2DP Stereo and Stereo Headset. The music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+ files. Using the built-in Disc2Phone PC software, users of the K618i can transfer tons of music directly from their PC folders into the phone, similar to the W810i model.

Notably, the K618 features BluetoothT Streaming, which means that full-length music tracks (or video clips) can be sent wirelessly from the phone and listened to on a compatible BluetoothT enabled device, such as the Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS970.
