This is the total time a cell phone
has been used in a specific period e.g a month or biweekly.
Airtime is used by wireless carriers to determine monthly
billing charges to customers. Examples of airtime:
- Sending/Receiving calls
- Sending/Receiving emails, faxes or files.
Usually billings go by the minute. If
you spoke a total of 1000 minutes in February, then your
total airtime in February is 1000 minutes.
