Alarms can work with cell phones in
various ways. Alarms can be built in with calendar features,
therefore if you have to attend a meeting today, the alarm
will inform you of this by ringing.
Some phones come with built-in standalone
alarms that can allow 1-3 different alarm events to be
set.
Note: Some phones require the phone to be on for the alarm
to work, while others don't. Check with the manual of
your particular cell phone.
