The Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a is available exclusively through AT&T.
Look no further if you’re a photography enthusiast who doesn’t always feel like carrying a camera with them. The Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a is potentially the best camera phone on the market, with plenty of other reasons to buy it.

The Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a is a slider phone, which means it's sleek and small

First, some negatives

The Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a is made with a vertical slider, meaning you push the front of the phone upwards to reveal the alphanumeric keypad. There’s two issues at fault here. One, the part of the phone which you push up is fairly flimsy, and therefore is prone to breaking. This would be pretty bad as that’s the part the screen is on. Two, the keypad is smooth across the rows of numbers (ie. 1,2,3) and therefore will lead to some incorrect numbers being input into phone numbers and letters in texts, completely throwing off your T9. Try it before you buy it.
Plenty of phone book features
Let’s face is, 90% of the time the application we’re using is our phone book to either call or text someone. With the Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a, you can have 1,000 phone book entries. Each entry allows seven phone numbers (who has seven phone numbers?), three emails and a Web URL along with other information. Also, you can personalize their contact information with video, which is always fun but will absolutely drain your battery. You can customize text message tones, which is very underrated, and you can also just turn off any sound for the contact all together if it’s not someone you’re very fond of.
It’s a camera, phone, AND MP3 player?!
Yes, it is. Through AT&T Mobile Music, the Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a can access XM radio, download music at $7.50 for five songs, and Music ID, which will tell you what a song is by just placing your phone near a speaker. If you’re old fashioned, there’s even an FM radio turner. Taking a page out of iPod’s book, there’s a special section for podcasts and audiobooks in the Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a’s music player.
Let’s talk about the deal-sealer
The 8.1 megapixel camera should be the reason why you buy this phone. It has so many features piled on top of an awesome digital camera. The Sony Ericsson Cyber-Shot C905a takes gorgeous photos, has 16x zoom, face detection, and geolocation. It has smart contrast so the camera will pick the correct setting for the photo. You can even record 20 second video clips for multimedia messages, or take longer vids to upload to the Internet.
Battery Life
Believe it or not, even with this crazy-powerful camera, you’re going to get approximately 10 hours of talk time out of this bad boy.
