The Samsung Jack is available exclusively through AT&T.
Getting away from the looks of the Motorola Q and trying to emulate more of a BlackBerry feel, the Samsung Jack is the latest and greatest installment of the “Black Jack” smartphone series.

The Samsung Jack from AT&T is the best version in the Blackjack series.

Keyboard that you’ll love
The full QWERTY keyboard that is standard for a lot of Samsung’s phones makes its way onto the Samsung Jack. This is a comfortable keyboard with raised letters, unlike some QWERTY keyboards that are flat and you can’t tell if you’ve accidentally slid over a key or two. This is the kind of keyboard that makes texting and emailing so easy that you’ll never be able to go back to an alphanumeric keypad again.
The ultimate internet smartphone
The Samsung Jack comes with the Microsoft Office Mobile Suite. It includes email support for both POP3 and IMAP4, push technology for that email, IM clients, and RSS reader. Also, AT&T installs such applications as Mobile Banking, e-Bay and a weather client. This phone basically ensures that you don’t even need a laptop, the Jack does everything for you that a laptop possibly could.
Perfect global phone
The Samsung Jack is a quad-band world roaming phone which is equipped with GPS, as well as A-GPS. What’s that, you ask? Well, you have to pay extra each month for it, but for $19.99 you can get the Global Edition of AT&T Navigator. If you’re strictly US-based, you can get the continental version for $9.99.
Any negatives?
No phone can be perfect. The Samsung Jack suffers from the terrible case of having the microSD slot behind the battery. This is quite annoying if you use one for photos, another for music and another for video. Also, the phone is one of those phones that you’ll fight for an hour with to get the cover off. We’ve all had one of these phones and they aren’t fun to deal with.
Battery Life
For as many features as it has, the Samsung Jack keeps up the Samsung tradition with great battery life. The Jack gives you around six to seven hours of talk time, which is pretty amazing.
