Here's How You Can Get Apple's 5G iPhone SE

By Dayna MarascoMarch 1, 2022

The third-generation iPhone SE may be the most contentious handset on the market, with a 2017 design, 2014 screen size, 2021 chip, and 2022 connectivity. That is even before the 5G-enabled 4.7-inch starts shipping to its early customers.

After an official announcement last week, shipments are set to begin later this week, but if you are still on the fence about the small Apple A15 Bionic powerhouse and have not pre-ordered yet, Xfinity Mobile could help clinch the deal.

The up-and-coming MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) has the best iPhone SE 2022 deal right now, especially if you do not have anything to trade-in. That is correct, you will not have to give up your current gadget in order to acquire this bad boy for free... after monthly bill credits, of course.

As you might expect, the killer deal comes with a few stipulations, including a two-year installment plan and, perhaps most uncomfortably, a number port-in from another carrier. The 100 percent discount is only valid until March 17, and it only applies to the iPhone SE 5G with 64GB of storage, which is still another major drawback for digital hoarders.

However, beggars may not always be choosers, and when you are qualified to save $430 on a brand-new iPhone that has not even been announced yet, you will probably be willing to accept some conditions and restrictions that would otherwise be deal-breakers.

To get the entire savings, you will need to stay with Xfinity Mobile for 24 months, and if you are unfamiliar with the MVNO, it uses Verizon's airwaves, so nationwide 4G LTE and 5G service will not be an issue.

Last but not least, those who want to trade in their old phones will be pleased to learn that they may get an extra $350 in the form of a $200 prepaid card and up to $150 credit if they do so before March 28. This practically means that Xfinity is willing to pay you to get the iPhone SE 3 off its hands.
